Windows 98SE upgrade CDs are sometimes available on e-Bay, or you could try
the on-line software stores. The full retail or the upgrade retail are best, but are also most expensive. You should avoid the OEM version as it is desinged for installation to a new system and it might not be possible to use it as an upgrade. See: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour/html/w98_restore.html W98 RESTORE DISK AND INSTALLATION PROCEDURES http://home.satx.rr.com/badour/html/upgrade.html UPGRADE WITH OEM CD. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) "rick" wrote in message ... how can I update my windows 98 Firts edtion to second edition |
