Registry Mechanic says that I have 28 of these that are incorrect or
invalid:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer
\FileExts\

..INF , .txt , .reg , .zip , .wav , .LOG , .ini , .lnk , .gif , .png , .jpg , .chm , .htm
..wri , .pdf , .doc , .xls , .rar , .dll , .ocx , .css , .js , .CHK , .cab , .xml
..sit , .html , .bmp

Should I just delete these?? Or, should I fix them?? If there a way
to fix them with a .REG file rather than editing them one-at-at-time.

Leave them as they are. These keys, or rather their sub-keys OpenWithList
and OpenWithProgids include details of programs that you have configured
to open these various file types using the right click OpenWith dialogue.
What may have happened is that you at one time configured your system such
that program A could open files of type B and have since deleted program A
whilst leaving the data in the FileExt key for files of type B.

If this really worries you then carefully remove by hand the unwanted
entries using Regedit but I would not recommend the wholesale removal of
these keys using Registry Mechanic or any other "registry cleaner".
