Default Dial-up adapter

I have been having difficulty reinstalling the dial-up adapter (was working
on clearing up some DNS conflicts). When attempting to dial-up, I get an
error message that the dial-up adapter is either not installed or not working
correctly. The dial-up adapter is no longer indicated in the network
configuration.

I've tried to remove and add dial-up networking from add/remove programs -
communications but have not had any luck.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks Jon - I actually gave that a try and didn't have any luck. I ended up
restoring the registry and that appears to have done the trick.
