Default IE wont load any webpage besides home

I know there could be a wide range of things that could be causing this but
if anybody has any suggestions on things i can do it would be appreciated.

Things i have already done:
1. Deleted all temp files
2. Ran Adaware and removed all spyware
3. Ran Norton virus scan (found nothing)

For advice specific to problems with secure sites, have a look at the first
link - for general advice, have a look at the second:

I have known some ISPs do this when they've changed their dialup number, or
similar: if by "home" you mean the ISP's home page, which they set your
browser to when you "installed the ISP", then actually look at it: there may
be some message about changing whatever it is they want you to change.

When you say "won't load any webpage besides home", do you mean it gives the
same page whatever URL (the http: [or www] bit) ypu specify, or it gives an
error message - or times out - when you do so?

What is the URL of "home"?

It freezes as soon as you try to type something? Try typing into the Address
bar of *Windows* Explorer (not IE.) If you don't see an address bar in
Explorer, use the View menu to enable it. What happens?

Or does it freeze when you press Enter or click Go?

Just for the heck of it, I'd run IE Repair. Might be available in the IE
Tools menu, or in the Tools menu of MSINFO32 (System Information Utility).
Please see the following before running IE Repair.

What version of IE are you using (HelpAbout)
