Checkpoints that you create after September 8, 2001 do not restoreyour computer
For any New User who has this issue on a Win ME system, this is the
cure : Checkpoints that you create after September 8, 2001 do not restore your computer http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290700 CAUSE This problem occurs because the algorithm that is used to calculate the checkpoint file name does not work after September 8, 2001. RESOLUTION Microsoft has released an update that corrects this problem. When you install this update, a checkpoint is automatically generated. Checkpoints that you create before you install this update do not work after you install the update. The following file is available for download from the Microsoft Download Center: Download 290700usam.exe now http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...290700usam.exe MowGreen [MVP 2003-2006] =============== *-343-* FDNY Never Forgotten ===============

Well, you could've kept all the moisture where you live. After our
