would anyone be able to suggest how I diagnose why we
cannot write or save to our cd rewriter any more.

we use ahead nero

A bit more info might help......exactly what procedure are you using and exactly
what errors are you getting, and when?
Are you using InCD packet writing, or just Nero CD mastering?

Because your drive's packed up?

What happens when you try, exactly?

Can you still read CDs with the drive?
