Microsoft Responds to the Evolution of Online Communities
Hot-fool wrote:

Is it possible for you to compose coherent sentences in english? You are such a stupid fool. You have no idea how usenet works. But that's a good thing, because when microsoft removes this win-98 newsgroup, both you and MEB will disappear and the rest of us that use other servers will still be here. |

And you and your like will be *still* be supplying garbage, bad advise, and mindless crap to those users. PLUS subjecting them to further hacks, and like activities since most of you are "clueless". And of course, you, personally, HAVE previously exposed you have *no idea* how Usenet works in the two EXTENSIVE discussions here in this group on Usenet... you still don't. I feel sorry for the users who will be subjected to you and your like... at least for a limited time period [depending upon how long the NNTP servers/services continue]. You seem to forget there are "controlling" groups for/over all of the "Internet", and without the MAJOR servers, major corporations and their OWNED lines and routing servers/services, *Usenet* isn't going very far should support be dropped. -- MEB http://peoplescounsel.org/ref/windows-main.htm Windows Info, Diagnostics, Security, Networking http://peoplescounsel.org The "real world" of Law, Justice, and Government ___--- |

Most ISP, here in Australia, provide NNTP Server for their customers. Bigpond (my ISP) and Telstra provide excellent newsgroup access. When Microsoft stops their server, the only people who will not see posts are those that rely on the Microsoft servers. For those who use other Usenet servers, there will be no effect. If anyone is talking BS, it is you. |
