Default ME upgrade to Home XP

recently installed XP upgrade. ME on from purchase 21/2
yrs. ago from Gateway. had problems. a tech guy removed
ME and installed XP. unable to install Office disks from
ME. is there a way or will XP not allow installation? i
need Office Suite installed right away. maybe have to buy
new one compatible with XP??? Help!!!

MS Office from '97-on is compatible with XP. What process are you going
through here? What cds do you have?

Well if you have office 2000 i dont see whynot unless

your cds are corrupted then you do have a problem and
should buy a new one. The best thing to do to avoid
compatibility is to buy the latest office. If it is
office 97 probably there is compatibility issues.
