I've got a problem
I do not know if this is the right group.
Okay I bought a 14 year old PC DOS program on ebay and it arrived today. The problem is that the floppy disk is damaged beyond repair. I can see the files on the disk but cannot execute or copy any of it. I cannot repair the disk with Norton for Windows,Norton for DOS, or scandisk. However I did note that I have not yet tried Norfton Disk Editor. Disk Editor may be able to repair a disk beyond repair, but to use it will require some advanced technical advice. Is there anyone in here who can direct me how to repair the disk using Disk Editor? Thanks, John |

You can only use disk editor to repair a disk when you know (or can work
out) the correct information to be inserted. If the floppy disk is damaged beyond repair then Disk Editor won't help. You should either send it back for a refund or tell the vendor to send you a copy of his backup disks. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) "Coolwater0009" wrote in message ...
