Whadup?
I have been trying to help my dad fix our computer.
Well, there is one thing he can't figure out how to do.
When you first boot up the computer and then press ctrl &
alt & delete you will get the window that pops up with all
the programs running. Well, technially only systray and
Explorer need to be running and the rest can be ended.
Well, i want to now if there is a way to make it so that
those junky programs will never start up and so i don't
have to keep ending them. There has to be some option
that tells those programs to load when the computer boots
up. Any help at all would be great. Thanx in advance.

Welllllllll.....

if you want you can uncheck them in
Start/Run/msconfig.exe/Startup

Take a look here for what's what
http://pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_index.htm

If it's a program that has a related Options/Preference, try unchecking
"Load at Windows Startup" there, first.

Technically, Systray doesn't need to be running either (of course then
you won't have a SystemTray).

I've yet to manage without Explorer though (though theoretically...)
