Default back-ground programs

Apologies for not writing earlier that the msconfig
approach did fix the problem; my wife is happy with the
vast speed improvement. Many thanks.

Enter msconfig in the Start = Run box and look for the
program under Startup. If it's there, remove the check
mark from the box beside it to disable it as a startup
program.

Well, is there a button in the Tray (with clock) that

you
may R-Clk to
disable "Easy Keyboard"? I have one there called "Easy

Access Button
Support" that I may disable. But I really wouldn't want

to uninstall it.
Why do you wish to uninstall yours? Will you know how to

get it back?

Thanks or Good Luck,
There may be humor in this post, and,
Naturally, you will not sue,
should things get worse after this,

| I am cleaning up my system.
| I tried to un-install "Easy Keyboard" via the Control-
| Panel's add/remove programs choice.
| But I am told the program "Easy Keyboard" is running

and I
| have to stop it first before I will be able to un-

install
| it.
| I have no idea what to do to find it and stop it.
| I did do a Start-Find and did locate all kinds of
| components associated with "Easy Keyboard", one of

which
| is an "Uninstall....exe" but I am very reluctant to

run
it.
| Naturally, I will be very appreciative of any help
| provided.
