Don't know what the NG for Outlook Express is. Running Win ME and as of
last Friday, 12/8/2006 I have not seen any NEW posts for Win ME NG. OE is
6.0 and I have not made any changes on my PC. Any ideas?
Thanks,

Ed

Alan

I have received a private mail from Ed Meza, in which he states
that he thought he had resolved his problem, and posted to this
newsgroup to say as much, he is now saying that his problem is
*not* resolved, and still cannot see any new posts after 12/8/06.

I have sent him an email with your OE newsgroup links.
I have told him to try unsubscribing, and then re-subscribing,
it can't hurt.

Just wrote him before seeing this. I suggested too that he go to the
links Alan provided and my money is now on a corrupted profile. But the
OE guys will fix him up.

Cheers......Heather

Maybe somebody farther down this line will mention it, but go to
earthlink.support.usenet on this server and you'll see many people are also
having trouble. It's EarthLink, not you.

Who controls your OE, Ed?
I've had it happen already, that temporarily the messages for a certain NG
were missing, but only for a short time, let's say a few days or so. What is
happening to you may also be beyond your own control and I am hoping it is.
If not, maybe some one in this neighborhood may have an answer for you.

Harry.

Hi Harry,
First off, thank you for your response.
I apologize for any misunderstandings. I am now using both this discussion
group and the discussion group on
news://msnews.microsoft.public.windowsme.general (where there are already 2
posting threads on this same problem).

Regarding your question, I have IE6 SP1 which comes together with OE 6.0
My ISP is PeoplePC Online - and as both George Gee and Ken Bland had
indicated, Eartthlink is also having the same problem of not seeing new
messages, nor viewing their own posts since the same date as me, that is,
since last Friday, 12/8/2006. *Note that PeoplePC is also Earthlink.* No one
can actually assert that there is a server problem (as stated in the
Earthling NG). My ISP Tech support from PeoiplePC Online, asked me to
remove OE and download it back in. This has been down - with corresponding
updates also secured for OE. Results: No progress after everything was done.

I had been working with George Gee thru private mail, which in turn he acted
as a liaison (prior to me subscribing to these MS News groups) and got
responses from Bruce Hagen, MVP of OE. I have folowed all of Bruce's
instructions and still the issue remains unresolved.

You have indicated that at one time you had the same problem for a matter of
days. In my case is now 8 days to the date. Can you recall how you resolved
your problem? Will appreciate any responses to put this issue to sleep.
Thank you.
