Icon in computer resources

I have a very small and curious problem of visualization that does not
create me any other trouble.
When I open computer resources, in the upper left corner of the white part
of the shield does not more appear the icon of the computer, the unit (disc,
cdrom, etc) or the folder, in accordance to what I am visualizing, but
always appear a little red square, a little green circle and a little blue
triangle. Someone has idea of what can be happened and if there is a way to
solve this problem?

I hope I am the only one who does not know what you mean by "computer
resources".
I don't think you are referring to the MS File Manager nor Device Manager.
Are you referring to some MS Windows tool, or some third-party software?

Your reference to "the white part of the shield" suggests you may be using
some McAfee tool/suite.
