Default uninstall xp pro to reinstall me

I have an older pc on which was pre-loaded with ME. I loaded xp pro onto it
and now the machine is just chugging. I do not have the disks for ME since
it came preloaded. Is there a way to uninstall the xp pro and get it back
to running on ME?.

Thank you.

MH:

Obviously you don't wish to increase your RAM.
Most certainly you can uninstall WinXP, but I suggest you go to
"microsoft.public.windowsxp.general",
unless someone here will be so kind and steer you in the right direction.

Harry.

Could very well be, _ct_, just didn't occurr to me.
(Do I detect poetic vein here?)

I looked into increasing the RAM. Since the machine is so old the new RAM
card would have cost about $350 and I didn't want to spend that much just for
RAM. MH
