Verdict to what? I don't find any posts you have submitted.
When you post to a public forum, it is best not to use a valid email address as you will likely start receiving spam and emails with an attached virus. -- Regards Ron Badour, MS MVP for W98 Tips: http://home.satx.rr.com/badour Knowledge Base Info: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?pr=kbinfo "MARY PENN" wrote in message news:0ml2f.2699$Iq3.1996@trndny01... 1. Mary, you want to use a fake address for your email when participating in
newsgroups. maybe change yours to Something that can't possibly be a real email address. Spammers like to harvest newsgroups for email addresses. 2. I still want you to post your MSINFO32 list, along with the list of items that were disabled before making the list, to the same thread where we were discussing your case. Can you find that thread? You may need to click on Tools menu Get Next 300 Headers a few times in order to download your previous posts. -- Gary S. We're still getting Mary used to OE and the NGs. She is also known as
"winner5+63". She sent me her MSINFO32 list by private email, and I explained a few things about "Reply" vs. "Reply Group", but she was also worried about passing that info into the public. I explained that there's nothing to fear and that she should post the MSINFO32 list here, preferably at her old thread. Let's see what happens... -- Gary S. I don't know what to say. I am just getting back into my OE account, I
hope. Have read all the replies Firstly, am pleased to see that someone else saw the stupid date. The separators in my dates were periods, not slashes, and the date layout was different. Have been trying to change my display name. Could not find place for changing it under the General tab. Was not there. Have manually replaced (cut) name and retyped. Hope it works.
