Default Strange Font mix up

Hi
I have a customer who is getting a mixture of Garmond fonts within different pages of the same printed file. It appears that one Garmond comes from Win98 the other from the built in fonts on the printer. All attempts to force one font by the driver has not been successful. Any ideas? Anyone come across anything like this?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Default Strange Font mix up

My HP PS driver includes a list of setting for telling it to "Substitute
Device Font" or "Download as Softfont", the defaults being to use Device
font for the most commonly used ones. I always go in and make is "Download
as Softfont" for every one. (Considering I have 4299 font files installed,
it gets a bit tiring to go through the list looking for the handful that
need changing.)

Perhaps that's a hint for you? Knowing what printer you're working with,
Make/Model, would be an immensely useful bit of info, s. Reinstalling the
printer might be a good start, also.
