Default Trouble Starting Windows

When I start computer it comes on,goes to screen with name
etc on it then goes to black screen with all the
information on it and it freezes there.I have to reboot it
about 6 times before it will come on ,then it goes to
black screens a couple of times telling me to "press enter
when ready" It never went to those screens before ??
