Short of memory for DOS programs
I do not have enough free memory for running a DOS program
I need about 512k of free memory Any ideas how to increase this? Short of memory for DOS programs
Still having problems with memory
After changes to config.sys and autoexec.bat to load everything possible into upper memory I now have 498k free conventional memory. One interesting fact is that loading command prompt only gives 640k Conventional memory, while a normal boot to windows results in only 532k Conventional. Any ideas? Use
MEM/C |MORE or MEM/D |MORE to see what's using the memory. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) "JP" wrote in message ... Makes one think of a virus. |
