Default problem installing Win98 SE

Hi,
I downloaded window98 SE from MSDN subscription and I'm trying to install it on my newly formated hard drive from DOS, but with no success; When I type "setup"
or "win98\setup" or ..... I keep getting the error: "bad command" or
"This command cannot run in DOS mode"

I used the command "Dir" to make sure that I'm pointing to the right drive, and I can see all files that the CD contains including the setup file.

if I try to use the window98 CD (the one that originally was installed before formatting) everything goes ok and the installation process start.

is there anything specific about the version I downloaded from MSDN, that I cannot install it from DOS ???

thanks for help

I think Roberto is probably right and if so, you can go ahead and install
W98 and then update it to SE. Or, look for another version of SE on MSDN.

you're right,
The version I downloaded from MSDN is an update version and it need win98 to be installed first in order to run.
but the funny thing is that I contacted MSDN and they assured me that this is a full version and not an update ! ! ! ! ! . . . .

thanks for your help
