Default How to retrieve non-FAT drive

Dear All

One of my friend had installed Windows 2000 on his computer (P-II) but soon
realized that the computer did not have enough resources to run Windows 2000
smoothly. So he switched back to Windows 98. There are two partitions on his
hard disk. After the installation of Windows 98 on the primary partition,
the second partition which was NTFS is no longer accessible in Windows 98.
Since the second partition is taking put up half of his hard disk space, he
will not be able to install all his necessary programs and restore his data
/ files. Is there anyway to convert the second partition from NTFS to FAT so
that it can be used for the purpose mentioned above?

Your help will be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

Best Regards
Ishtiaque Ahmed Memon

You can run fdisk and delete the *non dos* partition then recreate as
fat32...

Just in case of any possible errors...you should backup all your data first

here is some reading
