Default up grading RDRAM

Hi to all,

I am about to upgrade my RDRAM on my Dell dimension 8100 from 2x128 to
2x256.
I understand how to remove those and replace.

I would like to make sure I do the right thing.
I read it somewhere I have to flash up BIOS after replacing RDRAM modules.

I down loaded "Flash up BIOS" FROM Dell web site and copied to the floppy
disk.

I understand after replacing them I put this disk into drive A and reboot.

Will it automatically bring up the CMOS screen?
Could anyone explain me what to do about this?
I think I am not very clear about flashing BIOS.
