You can use any portable storage devise you have. Probably something that
works with USB (1.1 or 2.0 doesn't matter). -- Corday "Trish" wrote: purchased a new computer with Vista. How do I transfer all games, documents etc from old computer to new one? Can I use a memory stick? thanks |

Have you posted this question in the Vista forum? I thought Vista had a
feature to bring over software from your old computer. "Corday" wrote: You can use any portable storage devise you have. Windows ME to Windows Vista
Trish,
I never used it, but Vista has a function called Windows Easy Transfer. Supposed to be able to transfer Files and Folders, E-mail Settings, Program Settings, etc.: using cable, CD/DVD's, or USB sticks. Do search in Help and Support for Easy Transfer. Like Corday said you would probably want to check Vista support group first to see if the have suggestions. DLSayre "Trish" wrote: purchased a new computer with Vista. Trish, just did quick look in Vista group. Seems Easy Transfer only works
with XP. "Trish" wrote: purchased a new computer with Vista. How do I transfer all games, documents etc from old computer to new one? Can I use a memory stick? thanks |
