getting online
I've installed the network card correctly and it's recognized in Device
Manager with a everything is working correctly. Now I have 3 cables set up in the house with the ICS host PC is in the living room. Now I booted the modem and router twice, but no go. I've been using the recommended automatic setting to get online with no luck. Maybe I have to input some data and use the manually set up? I have some knownledge about fixing PCs. This Windows 98 SE is giving me more headaches than I can take lately. I'm sure it must be some data that I have to input to get things working correctly and online. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Daniel -- attilathehun1 |

getting online
Ok, take a mallet and knock me in the head. As soon as I changed the NIC
card, network card, it worked. I didn't even have to use the internet wizard to get online. I'm online now and I should've done that first. Just as easy as changing the network card and booting it. Thanks, Daniel -- attilathehun1 "attilathehun1" wrote: I've installed the network card correctly and it's recognized in Device Manager with a everything is working correctly. Turns out I didn't have to change the network card, I could put the drivers
in manually. I did change the NIC card but it wasn't necessary. -- attilathehun1 "attilathehun1" wrote: Ok, take a mallet and knock me in the head.
