BTBroagband and WinMe
The BT Home Hub is a combined adsl modem, router, wireless access point,
internet phone (VOIP) and BT's digital TV service/ IPTV (not sure whether that it the correct term to describe BT Vision). -- Mike M N. Miller wrote: When you say Modem and Router what it means? The DSL modem is the device which handles the ISP connection. Mine is external; most common in the U.S. Phone port on one side connects to a wall jack, Ethernet port on the other side connects to any device with an Ethernet port. My WinMe computer has already Modem working OK. and trying to connect the machine to BTBroadband Via BTHomeHub Ver 2.o T9J3? Do I need some more other device? Internal modem? Unfortunately, that changes things, and I don't really know what to offer next. What you are now describing sounds less like a DSL issue, and more like a networking issue. Is this BTHomeHub an Ethernet hub? I once connected two Windows ME computers using a hub, and a dial-up modem in one of the computers. I was able to get Windows ME "ICS" ("Internet Connection Sharing") to work with that configuration. |
