You get hardware drivers from the hardware manufacturers not Microsoft. Try
the manufacturer's web site. I suspect though that your problem is that the operating system is looking for files in the Win Me cab set and that when asked you either insert your Win Me CD or alternatively point the installer at the folder containing the file BASE2.CAB. This is the Win9x folder on the Win Me CD or either the C:\Windows\Options\Cabs or C:\Windows\Options\Install folder on your hard disk. -- Mike Maltby MS-MVP wrote: just purchased a multi media card reader, attached it to my dell w/ window me which is supposed to require NO additional drivers. windows does recognizes but asks for a driver. how do i get a driver for windows me. on microsoft.com it doesn't list drivers for ME??? |
