Default IBM PC Server 325 windows 98 Installation hangs - Solution

Hello NG,

I was looking for a solution to this problem in the NG.

Was pointed to a solution somewhere. For the reference:

Go to the BIOS Setup (F1 after a "planar ASCII icon" appears in the
upper left corner of the screen).
Select "Startup Options"
Make sure that "Virtual Wire I/O APIC Mode" is set to "[Disabled]".

Regards
Wolf
