USB Ports - Turning On
Hi,
I'm running Windows 98 (ver 4.10.1998). While I have USB ports in the back of the PC, I have only recently tried to use them with a digital camera. I notice when I right click on My Computer / Properties / Device Manager that no USB is identified. My question and assumption is, I may not be running 2nd Edition Windows 98, but would like to try and get the USB to work. Can someone help me? Thanks, Dave |

USB Ports - Turning On
Are the ports activated in BIOS setup? A machine originally delivered with
W98 would probably have the USB ports turned off. Access BIOS setup and make sure they are active. -- Jeff Richards MS MVP (DTS) "Dave L." wrote in message ...
