Default Windows 98 and Fax Sending

Dear Friends:

When I bought my first computer, one of the features I
loved about Windows 95 was that I was able to send faxes
using my computer. I have had Windows 98 for quite some
time, and I have never seen that feature. My question
is: Is it possible at all to send a fax using Windows 98,
and if so, how?

Thanks

Ron:

Thanks to your help, I was able to install fax.

The problem now is that I can't send messages, because I
have a DSL modem. Any idea what would I have to do in
order for the Fax to use the DSL to fax messages?

Once again, thanks.

You can send faxes with DSL by subscribing to a web faxing service. See, for
instance:
http://www.innoport.com/internet_fax.asp

Otherwise, you will need a phone line and a fax modem.
