Default DVD writting in WINXP

I wish to copy files from HDD to DVD to keep as backups using windows
explorer for some reasion can't to it anymore
Can anyone help me please

Default DVD writting in WINXP

This is a Windows ME group, not a Windows XP group, however, I don't believe
Windows XP will write DVDs. Only CDs. You need some other software, like
Nero or Roxio. There may be very simple free DVD writers out there, but I
don't know of any. Did your DVD writing drive not come with software?
