Default Error in registering files during MDAC setup

I've tried everything suggested in the database, and sitll receive the same
three errors when trying to install new version of MDAC: Error registering
the OCX C:\Program Files\CommonFiles\SystemADO\msado15.dll, and same message
also for OLE\DB\sqlxmlx.dll and OLE\DBsqoledb.dll.

Help, please?

Hang in there for a few hours, Joan. Those who can answer your query

Did anyone solve this?
I've got exactly the same error message for Win98SE.
Microsoft has solutions for WIN2000. Says altering security permissions in registry for a particular key. But how is this done in Win98?

Type the following (where "C:\Windows" is your Windows installation folder)
and press ENTER after each line:

CD WBEM
FOR %%f IN (*.DLL) DO REGSVR32 /S %%f
