Default Certain links won't open???

Random links on various pages will not open when I double
click them. Say there are 6 underlined links on a page,
only 1 won't open and it's usually the one I
need...example, when going to Windows to check for
updates, I can open all links until I get to "check for
updates"....when I click link, nothing happens, link won't
open, no error messages, simply nothing....

I use statracker at Yahoo to follow my games live, again
all links work until I click the Statracker link top open
the program, nothing happens...I know it is still
installed on my computer because the link works fine using
Netscape....

any suggestions....thanx in advance

Try going into the control panel, add/remove programs.
Double click Internet explorer and try running a repair
on IE. If that doesn't work then try updating IE or
reinstall it. (Make sure to backup your favorites just in
case)
