Default local PopUp window with FrontPage

I have been writing all my web pages with FrontPage2000 and have run into a
few problems that all seem to have the same root. The most recent (and
urgent) one involves a Java sripct pop-up window. I can only get the file to
load if the address is a web address. It will open the window but not load
the page if the file exists on the local drive only. The problem with this is
that I am using Internet Explorer and html files WRITTEN TO CD to distribute
a new product catalog. I need the pop-up window to load the file from the cd
(which of course will be a different drive letter for different users). Any
ideas?

If I understand you correctly you are distributing some sort
of software/pictures via an HTML method and want to use
"coffee" as a method of navigation.

a href="" target="new" The window pops up.

If you use relative URLs for each link, should be okay. But
if the depth changes, then the relativity will change and
the link will need to be adjusted. Why not have a text file
explaining what's what. Oftimes I will explore a CD before
I install anything from it.
