Auto reboot

Why would my system reboot when I shutdown even when I have checked
'shutdown' & not 'restart'? And, yes, I have my glasses on. This time it's
my own machine at home. Seems like vacations are hazardous! Btw, I haven't
had a chance to look at the office problem yet.

Click StartRun, type MSCONFIG and click OK.
On the General tab, click the Advanced button.
Click to put a check mark in the box for "Disable fast shutdown", and click OK.
Click OK to close Msconfig, and restart the computer.
