Default Windows Installer

When I boot into Win98 SE I receive Windows Installer
message. Can't find wireless network card. I have to
cancel thru these messages before I can use Windows 98.

Are there any steps to clear these messages?

These are the message I receive:

1. Windows Installer Preparing to Install

2. Windows Installer: This installation package could not
be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that
this is a valid Windows Installer package. (OK)

3. Configuration Utility: There are no wireless network
adapters installed so the configuration utility will quit.
(OK)

I am awaiting a response from Symbol regarding their
Spectrum 24 software too.

Glen,

These are the messages I receive when I first boot Win98
SE.

1. Windows Installer Preparing to install.

2. Windows Installer: This installation package could not
be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that
this is a valid Windows Installer package. (OK)

3. Configuration Utility: There are no wireless network
adapters installed so the configuration utility will
quit. (OK)

I have contacted Symbol regarding their Spectrum 24 2MB
wireless network cards software. I have not heard
anything from them as of yet!
