win98 se install
whenever I try to install win98se i get to the system
scan and it stops. It says the following: Please wait while Setup initializes. Scanning system registry... Windows setup requires 7340032 bytes available. (flashing bar) No scan is ever done. I'm trying to do a clean install.

If you are sure you have sufficient disk space, try running
setup with the "/id" switch. setup /id Ben "nickycat" wrote in message = ... whenever I try to install win98se i get to the system=20 scan and it stops.
