what in the world is the problem?
I recently tried to install a Lexmark Z32 printer on my
gateway. All of a sudden all my icons are black boxes. It is driving me nuts! Someone please tell me how to get it normal again. |

Open the Tools Menu/FolderOptions/View and check "display Hidden files". Delete the file called ShellIconCache. Reboot; Windows will automatically rebuild it and hopefully give you a shiny new series of Icons on your Desktop, too. Rick |
