What is this file? And waht does it do?

Default What is System32.dll?

Thanks Noel. I had already checked Google and came up with that. I
should have asked is it applicable to Windows ME?
From what I gather it is a NT file and not applivaple to ME. Is this
correct?

Default What is System32.dll?

System32.dll is not part of the Win ME or WinXP default filesets.

The chances are that if the file exists on your system, it's the result of
an infection by a virus/trojan
try this search instead....
