Several years ago, I recall learning in this NG that Alt+0176 inserted the
degree symbol, however I don't recall the background. I don't believe that this come from the Character Map so would appreciate if someone would clarify. I would like to see what other symbols are available using theses codes. Thanks |

I think this may be more like what you are looking for:
http://www.starr.net/is/type/altnum.htm This available in many places and I believe it can be found within Me, just can't remember where. Heirloom, old and needs a degreeº Odd, Alt+0186º and Alt+0176° produce very similar items...one appears bolded. "Dapper Dan" wrote in message ...
