text too small to read
Hi Donna,
Go to Control Panel - Display - Settings, and decrease the "Screen area" to the next lower setting. Or until the desired resolution is achieved. -- Regards, Bert Kinney [MS-MVP DTS] http://dts-l.org/ How to Configure Outlook Express for Internet News: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=171164 "Donna" wrote can someone tell me how to make text bigger so i can read??? even the wording on microsoft site is too small, also when i open pages in my aol....how can i rectify this problem please????? |

Sorry, but that reply from 'Bert' isn't right AT ALL!! you
should NEVER decrease your screen size. Always make it as large as possible, for good resolution. To answer your question, you can do several things. First - go to IE/View/Text Size - make it the size you can most easily read If that doesn't work - Second) go to Control Panel/Display/Settings/Advanced - there you can set your font to be (for example) 125% of the regular size (that's what I do, always). If these don't work, re-post and I'll work on it further. -----Original Message----- can someone tell me how to make text bigger so i can read??? even the wording on microsoft site is too small, also when i open pages in my aol....how can i rectify this problem please????? . |

Now how can you make that statement when you don't know
for a fact what the screen size is currently set at? What I posted is in fact the first step in diagnosing the problem. -- Regards, Bert Kinney [MS-MVP DTS] http://dts-l.org/ How to Configure Outlook Express for Internet News: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?kbid=171164 "csleesburg" wrote Sorry, but that reply from 'Bert' isn't right AT ALL!! you should NEVER decrease your screen size.
