Default Ddhelp / IE

I want to reinstall DIRECTX as I have a Ddhelp error when accessing some
sites with IE. Normally I get round it by using Firefox instead.

Unfortunately one of the sites which throws up the illegal operation is
Microsoft's which doesn't like Firefox, which means I cannot update the
Direct X.

Help

No further forward yet.

Using Firefox I go to

http://www.microsoft.com/windows/dir...ds/default.asp

Using Firefox goto download latest Dircetx, have to validate OP first:

Download the WGA Plugin

Run Validation Tool which downloads Genuinecheck.exe

Get error code 0x80072ee7 (Technical difficulties or may be running
unsupported operating system)

When I tried to run DXDIAG it starts to run ans then I get the Ddhelp
message.

Thanks Franc

I followed the link and have updated the DirectX, no Ddhelp problems yet so
hopefully it's fixed.
