Default Broadband DSL

I have cable DSL, and my internet connection leaves everytime I reboot, and
the connection wizzard pops up to make a connection. Why do I lose my
settings and have to make a new connection each time I shut down and
restart.
Thanks

Rick,

Because you're no longer connected when you shut the system down.
The internet connection is reestablished when you boot up.

And, it's a DSL connection, not a cable DSL connection. They are 2
different means to connect to broadband.
