Computer hangs ehen trying to read PDF documents online
When I go to a website such as Ancestry.com or the TIAA financial site and
try to look at forms or documemnts that use the PDF format the screen just sits there and computer hangs. I have to power off. I have Adobe Reader 6.00 updated and use Win 98 SE. Any clues as to what is wrong?? Thanks -- hwhamilton

Uninstall, then reinstall, Adobe Acrobat.

what kind of internet connection are you useing dial up or DSL? If it is Dial up it maybe a large PDF file tring to load. If that is the case it will appear to hang.

Hi Helen, if you are using a dial up connection it can take ten to fifteen
minutes to download a pdf file, sometimes even longer! you just have to be patient!!
