Default No Music Video Sound

There's a site, http://www.americanmusicchannel.com. You
can go there and watch dozens of different country music
videos. I tried to play a video and it messed up. First,
the video played. Then, it froze and I had to restart my
computer. Now when I try to play a video, it shows the
video but there's no sound. The site, on my computer
anyways, uses Windows Media Player to show the
videos....if that helps any.

BEWARE JAVASCRIPT!

It sounds as if automated scripting from the music website has damage your
Media Player; that, the website was doing something heavily invasive to raid
your system for data - perhaps, attempting to install spyware. This is also
probably the cause of you seeing that "Volume State" in the toolbar during
startup. As a starting point of coping, I'd suggest getting yourself some
freewa "Spybot Search & Destroy" will find most of the current spyware,
and give you the chance to remove it. "Stinger" is an excellent anti-virus
program, and is free. It has the virus definitions contained internally, and
you have to periodically update it by downloading new copies. But - it found
a virus on my system which a continuously updated Norton's Antivirus 2000
program had missed for 2 years. Xteq X-Setup is an excellent system settings
tweaking utility. It only recently turned into shareware (inexpensive), and
previous version that were freeware are still easily available online - you
can use it to inspect & tweak what gets started up during the boot-up
process. After doing all that, you'll probably end up uninstalling and then
re-installing your Windows Media Player - but, do it after, not before those
other things.

"Feminism, Pedophilia, & Homosexuality - these
aren't 'lifestyle choices'. They're contagious social
diseases; psychiatric illnesses; disfunctions of the
reproductive systems. If left unchecked and
untreated, they result in conflict and suffering.
If condoned and promoted, they constitute a
mortal threat to the survival of civilization."
