Default Fatal exception error VXD FAT(01)

Hope someone can help here. I have Fdisk/ reformat my C drive and reload
WIN98SE. After that, I got this fatal exception error every now and then :
Fatal exception errors occur at 0028:C004B8DB VXD FAT(01) + 000098663. This
was called from 0028:C004BFC3 in VXD FAT(01). Anyone know how to fix this ?
Is this an indicator that my Fdisk is not done right ???

check to be sure your cpu is not overheating...
could be a bad fan.

also ...run a ram test

Looks like one of my RAM sticks is not working properly. I switched the
slots for my 3 RAM sticks and apparently this fixed the problem. I also
blasted off the dust from the fan. Thanks for the advise..
