Remote desktop Connection

I have a cross cable connection inbetween 2 computers for networking. It is
working fine.

One computer is having windows 98 SE and other one is having windows XP

Is it possible to get connected to each other with remote connection method.

I just want to do practical and check either from Windows 98 machine I can
get the desktop of Windows XP
AND from windows XP Pc Can I get the desktop of windows 98 PC

Please advise

You can install the Remote Desktop client on the Windows 98 computer and use
it to connect to the Windows XP desktop, but that won't work in reverse. I
would suggest looking into VNC (http://www.realvnc.com/) to connect both
ways.
