I don't quite understand. Are you adding additional Mexico zones,
instead of replacing the old ones? Then, how will Windows know which to
use in the Date/Time Properties requestor-- &/or anywhere else Windows
must use them?

So? These will be new ones where none existed before? That hopefully
will be OK. But I'm not sure I want a double set like you may be doing
with Mexico!

have not.
