Default 1Gbit over NetBeui?

Hello:

I just picked up two AOpen 1Gbit network cards and a 1Gbit crossover cable.
The setup works but, I'm only getting 10MB/sec transfer rate. I've set both
cards for 1000 full duplex. Is 10MB/sec the max. transfer rate for NetBeui
or am I missing some other setting? I've also tried Jumbo frame but it
doesn't seem to work.....suggestions?

TIA.....Chris.
