Minimizing windows to taskbar
I'm sure this is an elementary question, but as a novice
computer user, after ages looking thru the help topics, I just can't find the answer. Don't know what I've done, but now when I minimize a window, instead of it dropping down to my taskbar, it drops to just ABOVE the taskbar. Any new window I open, covers it. Previously I could have several windows open, and see them all displayed on the taskbar, but now, any open window spreads all the way down to the top of the taskbar, covering the 'minimized windows' just above the bar. Again, don't know what I did to cause this to start happening, but I'm hoping someone will be gracious enough to help a poor crazy novice get it back to the way it was! :-) Frankly, I've no idea if I can even navigate back to this forum, so if anyone can help me (w/ pretty explicit instructions, needless to say!), please e-mail me at . Thanks a lot. I'd really appreciate it. "Great is your reward in computer heaven." :-) Gary Deal |
