Default Deleting Temporary Internet Files

I periodically clean up my C drive by deleting files under
Windows/Temporary Internet Files. I open Windows
Explorer, then click C drive, Windows and Temporary
Interet Files, then select all the files revealed, then
click delete. However, if I click on the + box to the
left of the Temporary Internet Files folder it reveals a
sub-folder called Content.IE5, which itself has several
sub-folders. Can I delete the contents of Content.IE5?
Are there any reasons I should not delete some of these
files? Also under Temporary Internet Files is a folder
called OLK9152. It's empty. Should I delete it?

Rather than playing with Windows Explorer why not use the tool provided to
clear your Temporary Internet Files as this will delete those files that are
hidden when using Explorer? Control Panel | Internet Options | General |
Delete Files and check the box "Delete all offline content", OK and Apply.
Also accessible from Internet Explorer | Tools | Internet Options, etc.
