Default SETUPAPI log file questions

If every time you tried to download a software program or a software program
was trying to update, and the setupapi log file read "An unsigned or
incorrectly signed file" and/or "The third-party INF does not contain
digital signature information.", what would this imply and what would you
do?

TIA
SGB
